Taxonomic / nomenclatural notes: • Lindia truncata (Jennings) after Koste (1970) [Ref.11655], Koste (1978 partim) [Ref.17338], Sarma & Elías-Gutiérrez (1998) [Ref.15864].
• Segers (2002) [Ref.15746] points out that "Edmondson's (1938) description of the unci is in discordance with the actual shape of these elements, as could be judged by the examination of relevant material in ANSP. Koste's (1970) drawings of L. euchromatica (sub. L truncata) incorrectly shows two pairs of gastric glands. Although a dorsally extended corona can be surmised in Koste's (1970) photograph of this animal, his drawings do not show this feature." |
